The Rocket Language Courses have sold over 300,000 products over the years and is one of the world’s biggest leaders in downloadable language software and programs. Rocket languages offer many programs, among them Rocket Spanish remains a best seller. If there are many people buying a program does it mean it works? Can Rocket Spanish live up to the claims of teaching you Spanish like at rocket speeds?

Personally, I have tried other popular language learning software programs such as Fluenz and Rosetta Stone. Therefore, I can honestly say I have a basis for comparison when evaluating the Rocket Spanish program against other programs that claim to teach you Spanish quickly.

Here is what I’ve found. As a whole, the Rocket Spanish course is very comprehensive. If your primarily interested in learning to speak Mexican or Latin American type of Spanish than you will not be disappointed. If you’re looking for a more formal Spanish course than this program probably isn’t for you. Although, it’s focus is on informal or conversational Spanish among friends and family they do teach you to differeniate verbs to show respect when speaking to strangers - an important distinction to make.

The interactive audio lessons were designed to have you speaking Spanish fast. You right away be saying and responding to Spanish phrases. With these audio lessons there are lots of chances to get practice and repetition. The best part of the audio lessons are the fact they come on mp3 formats so you can put them on your ipod or mp3 player and play them anywhere. This feature isn’t available with all language learning programs.There is also written content to supplement the interactive lessons that help you learn how the language is written and helpful hints along the way that help you understand what really matters when speaking Spanish in the real world. In my opinion, I enjoy the fact that this program is plain practical. The main focus of the course is showing you confidently how to speak Spanish and understand it.

Lastly, there is a software component to the course that teaches verbs and helps you build your vocabulary quickly and easily by listening and viewing pictures. There is enough different components to this course that helps every type of learner. My only complaint about Rocket Language Spanish is how it is laid out. The course is not very fluid in organization. For instance, the audio is broken down into small chunks and you either need to find the written portion that goes with the audio or just listen to the audio by itself. I suppose some might think of this as flexibility built into the program because you can print out exercises or just listen to audio or play games. You choose how you want to learn the material. Personally, I like something that seems to flow and progress. On the other hand, Rocket Spanish does provide many opportunities to learn Spanish at your own pace and choose the format that best fits your learning style. For many people this is a good thing.

If you’re looking for an affordable program to learn Spanish than I would urge you to take a look at Rocket Spanish. You will save a ton of money on shipping and packaging if you purchase the download version of the course. It costs less than other programs which give it quite the edge in Spanish learning programs out there. Not to mention you don’t have to wait around for the mail to arrive to start learning Spanish. The content you get in Rocket Language Spanish is excellent and will not disappoint. The price of Rocket Spanish makes it a great value for the money.
